10sballs.com wants to thank all of our followers…Site visitors; Readers; Writers; Players; Partners; Facebook friends… We aren’t a year old yet and we are really working hard to bring you a quality site. It’s will have a new look any time now. Thanks to Todd and his computer team.
We are in our infancy. But we learn fast and plan on sticking around…our goal is to be a truly global site. Orange Coach is a great partner. They are based out of Amsterdam. Orange Coach offers all level of coaches…
Solinco is a great string…maybe the best. Can’t wait to try their racket!
I am a Californian that thinks globally. Every once in awhile I get wrapped up in USTA type groups governed by the “suits…” USTA: United States Tennis Association, but their old name was United States Lawn Tennis Association. That was the USLTA. I said when they dropped the “L” we lost love. Now I’m certain it’s LOGIC.
I would have loved to see the Australian Open wildcard event (played in Atlanta) offer every player in the event paid roundtrip airfare and per diem to travel to Oz, provided by the USTA. Why not help the Robert Kendricks and all the top ten US American players, male and female… Each of those young talented players deserve a try at the real qualies for the Australian Open… (Congrats and good luck Ryan Harrison. We like your style… you seem like a grounded kid)
We hope worldwide that the associations help their players regardless of their age… They’ve paid their dues… We need to think out of the box. Offer more opportunities that can have real impact… It’s thinking like that that will help produce more opportunities for our players to get exposure and always needed $$$$…
Tennis is a funny sport. If you’re not top ten in the world, (it used to be number one) you are just barely surviving and covering costs… I believe all the associations worldwide could all be more generous with their players. Tennis players are the world’s best ambassadors of goodwill.
Look at the doubles teams. Look at some teams combinations of countries over the years. Max Mirnyi a Belarusian playing with a Swede (Brorkman), an Indian (Bhupati), a Scottsman (Murray), a Canadian (Daniel Nestor), an Auzzie (Hewitt), an Israeli (Ram), and a Williams sister (Serena). Look at the most amazing team: it’s a Pakistani, Qureshi, and an Indian Rohan Bopanna. Their motto play tennis not war…
