Trophies and other memorabilia from Pete Sampras’ record-setting tennis career recently were stolen from a public storage facility. He still has championship hardware for 13 of his 14 Grand Slam singles titles, but almost everything else is gone.
10sBalls.com has been requested to ask its readers, that if anyone sees postings online, items for sale in a store/yard-sale, or is approached about acquiring Sampras memorabilia that they are to tactfully find out as much as possible about who has it and immediately contact the West Hollywood police department or the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum (who will immediately contact Pete).
This is a huge tragedy and with so many Sampras fans out there, we can only hope that they will come to the rescue and help Pete reclaim the triumphs of his outstanding career to share with his children.
