Following their win in the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas Final this weekend in Seville, Spain have extended their lead at the top of the Davis Cup Nations Ranking. Last year’s champions, Serbia, remain in second position, just ahead of 2011 finalists Argentina.
ITF Davis Cup Nations Ranking was launched in 2001 and measures the success of all nations participating in the competition over a four-year period with recent performances weighted more heavily. A new rankings list is published following every World Group round and nations at all levels of the competition have a ranking. For further information visit DavisCup.com/ranking.
