The 43-year-old Austrian Thomas Muster received wildcards in to the main draw in both singles and doubles at the Bet-at-Home Cup in Kitzbuhel starting this week.

Thomas Muster’s comeback was halted by German Philipp Kohlschreiber, who defeated Muster 6-3 6-0 in 66 minutes in the first round yesterday.

The number five seed Kohlschreiber will now face Albert Montanes who took out Spanish wildcard Javier Marti 6-3 6-2.

Dainel Gimeno-Traver had a two set win over Austrian wildcard Dominic Thiem 6-4 6-2. Gimeno-Traver’s opponent in the second round is Juan Ignacio Chela of Argentina who is the number one seed. Chela had a bye in the first round.

Number eight seed Pablo Andujar needed three sets to overcome Lukas Rosol of the Czech Republic 3-6 6-3 6-3. Andujar is looking for his second title this season. He was the winner of the ATP Tour title in Casablanca earlier this year. It will be an all-Spanish second round for Andjuar who will take on fellow Spaniard Albert Ramos.

Albert Ramos won his first round against Igor Andreev in three sets 6-0 6-7 (2) 6-4. Ramos reached the quarter-final last week in Umag before he lost to the Champion Alexandr Dolgopolov.

Italian Andreas Seppi cruised past Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan 6-2 6-2. Seppi is to play Pere Riva of Spain who defeated Victor Hanescu 7-6 (3) 6-4.

Second seed Feliciano Lopez had a bye in the first round. In the second round he will face Robin Hasse who beat Potito Starace. Hasse was up 6-3 2-0 when Starace had to pull out with an injury.

Only ttwo doubles matches were played yesterday. Santiago Giraldo and his partner Pere Riba won against the German team of Dustin Brown and Michael Kohlmann 6-4 6-4.

Lukas Rosol and Rogier Wassen made short work out of Potito Starace and Filippo Volandri both from Italy 6-2 6-3.
