Roger Federer is going to be 30 on August 8^th, 2011. A month from today. The time just flies by….

I remember Roger’s rookie year. 1998. He was also the number one junior in the world. He also won Wimby juniors that year and the dubs juniors with Ollie Rochus. Roger is one of four players to win junior Wimbledon and the gentleman’s title. The others were his heroes Edberg, Borg, and Cash.

Rogi and 8’s. He started playing tennis at age 8. He was born on the 8. If you ask him I think it’s his number …

As we grow up certain “birthdays” stand out. 13, 16, 18, 21, 25, ….30 … Its a big birthday. Anything with a five or a zero. Big birthdays. But its still a month away… and some of us think his best tennis is still coming our way.

We see the Mighty Fed like a fine wine. He gets better with age. What do you think ?……..

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
