Nottingham… Sherwood Forrest… Robin Hood country… . Also a great GRASS court warm-up for Wimby. Yup we’ve left our cubby in Paris and packed up our beret’s… and…. it was off to see Maid Marian … oh sorry everyone’s picking on maids (Conan the Sperminator comes to mind)… Friar Tuck… But it’s all true… The village of Nottingham puts on a great little tennis event. Really super. The courts are maintained beautifully, it’s so much harder to maintain up there than in London.

The players love the train ride. Big Boss once booked a Daimler and driver and really arrived in grand style.

10sballs.com sends a shout out to Donald Young. Good luck buddy. We hope your wrist is all better. DY is playing Nottingham, Queens, and Wimbledon all main draw based on his ranking!

Grunting. Hmm. I agree with Chris big time.

Cramping. Again I agree with Chris. TV people think its stale tennis time… is not! Commentators go on and on about it…it shouldn’t be allowed… the injury time out? Isn’t seeing a quick fix far more entertaining than watching the ball get bruised and abused back and forth. Speaking of commentators…. “D” from California thinks. (It ryhmes with Dustin) stinks. She will kill me for writing that but oh well.

Tennis producers of the world, TV viewers like injury timeouts. Harold do you hear me? Now let’s back to cramping… It happens… It’s dangerous. Would we prefer to see our beloved players hurt? Would we prefer the match to need to stop ? Be intelligent here. Speaking of TV commentators, boy do they speak… Two at any one time is plenty. Lindsay and Robbie still the front-runner.

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
