As Leander Paes turns 37, Martina says age is no barrier. That’s the way it was for Gonzales, Laver, Connors… smart players play as long as possible. In the case of the mighty Richard Krajicek he had so many injuries. Knees mostly. He is totally dedicated to tennis. King Richard and his beautiful wife Daphne Deckers and Emma and Alec Deckers host the best indoor event (the end of the year masters isn’t counted, its a special event) Richard and Roger have such similar games and styles. The first time I saw Roger play he looked like a smaller version of Richard. It would have been magnificent to see them play doubles together. I’m dreaming here. It’s sad when players just miss each other by a few years …my memory stinks …they may have had some matches together. No. Not as a team that was me daydreaming on a Monday….

Big congrats King Richard on securing King Roger Federer at your 2012 Rotterdam event….

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
