Houston. 10sballs.com has arrived…. no luggage. … We are getting this routine down. …Global Chick is having a good laugh, it beats crying….

We are enjoying the phrase we came up with yesterday. Bethanie and Megan won their third “set” (which isn’t a set, its first to 10 ping /pong tiebreak) they won 10-0. We called it a” Bagel Breaker” …but its really a HEARTBREAKER to the loser…. the element of luck factors in too much….

Apollo 7 Astronaut and tennis player Walter Cunningham and his lovely wife Dot enjoyed the matches at River Oaks yesterday…hopefully Walt got to meet a few of the guys….

Donald Young JR. Lost last round of singles qualies to Ivo Karlovic who was playing qualies because he forgot to enter the main draw …D.Y. Lost 4 and 4. The good news is he got a WC into the dubs with Denis Kudla and they beat the team of SA/ Ferreiro! Now they play Big Sam Querrey and Bigger John Isner. … Guys I’d avoid the LOB… Or any thoughts of lobbing….

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
