Live, Laugh, Love, LOB!
Today is the Ninth of April 2017. In America it’s a Sunday. It’s been a magnificent “spring fling.”
Check out these wild flowers that both Brett and Alejandro discovered in California. The winter rains brought out the Orange Blast. Personally I think they were for ORANGE COACH Sven Grovenveld.
Indian Wells was HOT! It’s great Having TOMMY HAAS coming in as the Tournament Director. He is a bright and determined ARIES that will play a great transition game. But meantime we hope he keeps playing and using his protected ranking. Tomorrow night he plays Reilly Opelka in Houston. We go with Tommy Boy.
Re: BNP Paribas Open It was over 90 degrees Fahrenheit for over 10 days. We spent time all over the site. (yes Nobu with Flip And PB)… We were in suites (oh that air conditioning felt good)… we were on both stadiums. Is stadium 3 really a stadium yet? We were on practice courts.
We loved the “Taste of Tennis”. We took our own party to the party. Penny and Judy Lerner did a FAB job.
We hung with the super talented Andrea Petkovic and Kirsten Flipkens as well as the Dynamic Mirnyi Brothers.
We visited the Solinco strings bachelor pad. Without a doubt the house has the biggest bar in Indian Wells. And a salt water pool heated like a hot tub. If you have not tried Solinco strings. You must. It’s has the most feel, power, and playability. Look at the Bryan brothers. Note we see the twins are wearing IZOD. And Now Playing SOLINCO. They have been playing with the string for a few years. And Now it’s Official . And JAMIE Murray loves the string too… The list goes on and on. … Look for the GREEN string and the O ️logo on the players rackets. It comes in the most amazing gauges. Really. 15, 16, 16L, 17, 18. Yup. 18. No it’s not fishing line….. I like the 18, and 17 but I’m a touch player with soft hands and old wrists and arms. The lower impact is nice on my arm. Very forgiving.
“Roger The Magnificent” pulled another “rabbit out of his hat.” All the experts kept saying his quarter of draw was the toughest. Roger showed them all. Was it vintage Federer? Nope. It was a stronger, better Federer with another gear. He was a Mercedes using all 12 cylinders firing. WOW!
Onto MIAMI. Oh the team at 10sBalls had fun there too including Ricky, Daisy, Frankie too. We had no problem with the time change . But the change into the humidity, boy was it sticky and moist. We had the annual 10sBalls Meal at JOES Stone Crab.
Then much to everyone’s surprise and Pleasure. We Saw –
“Roger the ROLEX”
“Roger the Rooster”
“Roger The 12 cylinder MERCEDES”
Roger Federer did it again. Back to back I.W./ MIAMI Championships. Double Wow.
I feel like since AUSTRALIA it’s all a dream. It’s literally the only good news out there.
We recently caught up with some of our favorite 10sBalls Global Ambassadors. We saw Wayne Arthur’s. Who was visiting from Brisbane with his wife Caro and daughter Amber. Wayne was amazing. The best lefty banana serve ever. No wonder Teddy Forstmann always chose Wayne as his partner at “Huggy” till Bob Bryan had Wayne’s serve down. Wayne hands and spins are truly masterful. We saw Dusan Vemic on his way to Serbia for Davis Cup. Which they Won today. Big Congrats.
We saw Andrea Petkovic who is so positive and always a pleasure to be around. We caught up with Joe Hunt From Seattle. And the Tennis Channel re some upcoming episodes. We met with so many people we are still spinning.
We close with the fact that we are living in crazy times. Maybe others feel like we do. That we will follow all the greats on the tennis tours. The ATP/ WTA.
And we say to Big Boss today was your day and we all celebrated in ways you would have enjoyed.
Lob when you need a little extra time…. Follow tennis it’s in another GOLDEN AGE. And the future is bright. Spring has sprung.
P.S. Suffered from terrible writers block. Not sure it’s over…? But you dig why plagiarism really disturbs me. Either the words and thoughts flow or they don’t….
