Hello everyone! It’s Aja reporting to you again, this time with a photo experience of the Mutua Madrid Open!

Today, Spain celebrates “Por el Día del trabajador,” the Spanish equivalent of Labor Day.
Apparently, a holiday in Madrid implies that few shops are open and not much happens on any given street…

Instead, massive crowds of tennis fans celebrate their freedom from work and buzz with anticipation to witness another tournament of athletic excellence at the Mutua Madrid Open!

Nadal, Errani, Suárez-Nevarro, Djokovic, Wawrinka, and many other talented athletes grunt and sweat on practice courts this afternoon, as holi-dazed fans rush the grand entrance of the tournament to proudly shout “tú eres mi favorita!” at their heroes on the clay.
There is a palpable feeling of holiday magic in the air today at Caja Magica. Tennis enthusiasts (adults and children alike) gather together in awe, as their beloved warriors prepare for the tennis battle ahead.

Editors Note: the Men’s And Ladies Draws are Very strong. Bad News was Day one when the Top Ladies seeds lost. All the top 20 men are in the tourney. Except for Roger Federer who hopes to be able to play next week.
