The world’s No. 1 doubles team Mike and Bob Bryan have announced the addition of several notable celebrities that will join them on Sunday, Sept. 27, at the annual V-Grid Tennis Fest Featuring the Bryan Bros. and Presented by Alexander Cadillac.

Most prominent is passionate tennis fan and childhood friend of the Southern California twins Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting of the hit TV comedy “The Big Bang Theory”. Like the Bryans, Cuoco grew up in Camarillo, Calif., and for years participated in clinics with the twins put on by parents Wayne and Kathy Bryan, as well as V-Grid Tennis Fest director Dave McKinney.

“I’ve been friends with the twins and their family since the day I was born!” Cuoco-Sweeting said. “They are my family and I’m thrilled to be able to support them anytime, anywhere.”

She added: “I’m so proud of what Bob and Mike have accomplished not only in their careers but with the Bryan Brothers Foundation. They are not only great players, but great human beings and they have my endless support.”

The 37-year-old veteran Bryan Twins will headline the event and play in an exhibition match against America’s top singles player John Isner and Davis Cup teammate Sam Querrey. All the action will take place beginning at 1 p.m., at the Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo.

Other pros confirmed to play in Pro-Am include Cuoco’s husband and former U.S. Davis Cup teammate of the Bryans, Ryan Sweeting, former world No. 1 women’s player Tracy Austin, and former ATP pros Rick Leach, Justin Gimelstob, Hank Pfister and Jeff Tarango .

The twins are excited to welcome their old friends to the event, especially Cuoco-Sweeting. “We grew up with Kaley and she is actually a really good tennis player, besides being a very talented comedic actress,” Mike Bryan said.

Added Bob: “She has always been so supportive of the Bryan Brothers Foundation and our quest to help deserving kids and kids programs.”

The Bryans won their 108th ATP World Tour team title on Sunday at the Citi Open in Washington D.C., and are currently top-seeded at the Rogers Cup in Montreal.

The event will once again feature wine and food tasting, a live auction, pro-am, and performance by the Bryan Bros. Band. Over the years, the event has raised more than $640,000 to benefit both the Ventura County Junior Tennis Association, as well as the Santa Barbara Tennis Patrons and other local children’s charities. The pro-am, VIP tables and box seats are sold out, but there are a limited number of general admission tickets remaining. Individual tickets priced at $100 are still available and can be purchased at: www.bbtennisfest.com/tickets.

Sponsors include: V-Grid Energy Systems, Alexander Cadillac, K-Swiss, Oakley, Raymond James, Blois Construction, Spanish Hills Country Club, St. Mary Magdalen School, Camarillo Smiles Denistry, Fenessco, Progressive Equine, Warren Wealth Management, dealsnapt.com, acesn8s.net, Adler Tank Rentals, Hub International, Limoniera, and the SCTA.
