Our favorite was the famous blue clay. Well done Señor Tiriac. Maybe Sven is right clay is orange. I love watching all the clay events. Monte Carlo is my favorite backdrop. The Mediterranean as your background. The little principality where millionaire and billionaires call home or Tax Haven. Whatever you say it’s all too amazeballs.
Let’s just get right to the point. In America on Sunday we were lead to believe by (TENNIS CHANNEL) we’d see the men’s doubles finals from Monte Carlo. Even Prince Albert and his gorgeous Princess were present to see the Italians playing the American dynamic duo of Bob and Mike Bryan. These guys are making history with every match they play. Every match is thrilling. Every win is savored and every loss still stings.
The boys are the greatest winning team in history and it will never ever be challenged. They are simply the best ever and always will be. In a few days the boys have a birthday. They aren’t boys anymore. They are men, husbands. Bob is the dad of two kids. On April 29 they will celebrate their birthdays and turn 37!
Almost all of the doubles guys do tourney “PR” visits to hospitals, sponsor obligations, clinics for kids days. You name it. Radio shows endless interviews … They are the foundation the super stars count on.
Yet, the Tennis Channel blew these guys off for re run Fed Cup match followed by squash. Is it now the racket sports channel? Where is badminton? ping pong and racquetball ? We know $ had something to do with the choice. Or was it a mistake? An oversight? A bad decision? We are still mad. We still want to see the match. When?
Funny the Tennis Channel wants to talk to us. Yes, we got an email. Sorry. It’s earth day. And we are all taking the day off to do beach cleaning and breathe some sea air and eat seafood.
Thank you Wayne Bryan for being Wayne Bryan. Thank you Kathy Bryan for keeping it all together. These Bryan wives, Lucky and Michelle are as dynamic as their husbands.
Tennis wake up. Let us all enjoy dubs. It’s a great game and it’s enjoyed by lots of tennis fans. It’s played more than singles. The studies prove it.
We literally had more complaints about this “foot fault on match point” than any event we can remember. Wayne Bryan has a feisty letter circulating but wont let us post it yet.
So what’s your take on the clay? Is it red?
