G’day. Good night. Good something wherever you are. We have spent the night celebrating the ladies doubles win. What a night. Global chick had finally put her nose to the net versus hanging with the Hollywood awards season and global art and fashion shows.

 

Then Bethanie Mattek – Sands pulls off the win with her partner Lucie Safarova ! Wow. We had been in the dumps cause our “Bestie” MICHAELLA Krajicek had lost in the semis to Chan /Zheng. And then this huge win for a team that had never played together before. Great stuff. Great win. Great after party. Everyone’s just going to bed now. About 4:30 A.M. Melbourne time.

In general this “Happy Slam” has been kind of the “Biploar Slam ” . But if it ends happy as the auzzies would say.” Good on you. ”

 

We are sorry to see Rafa still picking at his shorts ( His BUTT ) . Every year we figure he’ll make a New Years resolution to stop ” THAT ” . Benito you have no luck at discouraging this ? Tell him he would get more money in endorsement deals ? Maybe people wouldn’t go eeew after shaking his hand ? We are sadder to see his hair thinning. Yikes.

Did you see Bethanie’s ” kangaroo jump “when she won ? Has she been eating “roo steak” down Here ? I’m feeling so wiped out from all the celebrating that we did. I’m ready to see the Vet ? Tourney Dr. ? Someone ? The concierge ! I must remember not too mix champagne with beer with a martini … Global Chicks fault.

We need our rest. We still have the big ladies singles finals coming up. Can’t wait. We want to see a great match. We want drama ! Grunts ? We want great tennis played by two of the toughest competitors any sport has ever seen. We do have a fav.
