G’day from Melbourne. The jetlagged team is finally getting it together. It’s so great being down here. It feels so good. We always feel jittery till the tourney gets going. That first round match in any tourney is tough. A slam is tougher and the first slam of the year. You get my point. The moments are inching closer. There’s a lot going on all over the city. The taste of tennis was fantastic. Judy & Penny Lerner are great at making events so much fun. We love her expanded events during this years US open taste of tennis.

Kids day was awesome. It was great to see Roger Federer on court and his family nearby. Would love to see the girls on the court with him. Mirka had the girls. And Leo and Lenny were there too. Mary Jo and a nanny or two and Stefan Edberg. How sweet is that. Great to see. Now more tourneys need more nurseries. Indian Wells do you have a romp room. ? Nap room. ? Play room. ? “Kresh”?

We have to send a shout out to an old friend of 10sBalls_com he has finally made it into the Australian open after over 10years on tour. Welcome to the BIG LEAGUES to Artem SITAK. Artem and his lovey wife Anya now make New Zealand home. He is playing in the men’s dubs. His current ranking in dubs is 66 and he is 28 years old. We go back to Saddlebrook with him and his best friend Jason. He plays with Solinco strings and plays Davis Cup for his new homeland. Good luck Artem.

It’s a busy first day for us. Already running late and the excitement level and energy is just amazeballs. FYI. We’ve used that expression since Giuliana and Bill Rancic came up with it. Now it’s everywhere. Saw the ATP using it recently ?
