HOW I FELT ABOUT ROGER FEDERER LOSING THE WIMBLEDON FINALS BY IRENE LEE

Editors Note : Irene is a loyal 10sballs reader and when we are lucky a contributor. Many of us take our heroes losses very hard. We know Irene did if she shared these sentiments. And our “Federer effect” buddy Jason was broken up. Maybe he will read this and follow Irene. We take nothing away from Novak it’s just Federer really is FANTASTIC ! .

One more thing it’s thanks to Irene that the “10s Whenever newsletter” comes so often. She was constantly telling us we had to get them out more frequently. Sorry if you think we bailed this past week. We had a glitch. Maybe that’s what Serena had ? Please enjoy.

I was so depressed yesterday after Roger lost that I could hardly function during the day. I thought he could pull it off finally.

He said he didn’t figure out how to return Novak’s serve until the 4th set. He seemed more at peace than I was about the loss. He was upbeat about his prospects the rest of the year.

Your newsletter also helped me, knowing that there are so many Roger fans like me who were upset & depressed yesterday.

That loss was the hardest one for me because I had such hope & expectations that he could win. Then people will finally leave him in peace about retiring.

I found the European commentators were more respectful of Roger than the McEnroe brothers. They mocked him a bit which I hated. The BBC commentators seemed to appreciate him more and I enjoyed listening to them.
