Greetings and cheers from London. The team from 10sballs wakes up every morning to see the London Eye staring us in the eye. Yes, it’s right outside our windows. Then we look left and see our alarm clock also known as “Big Ben” . Yes , it’s truly amazeballs. It gets better , then we jump on the water taxi boat and navigate up the Thames to the 02 Arena. Ok. Ill stop there . Because it still gets better. The tennis session starts !
We’ve been blown away once again by the arena , the tennis , the British organized and friendly staff , the eight singles players , the eight doubles teams , the format , the prices (affordable ) , the food , the entertainment value for the price of the seat , the drinks , the media center is the best in the world , Hilary and her staff have their hands full but always polite and informative , the tennis concierge Mr. Fraser Russell , a brilliant tournament director in Chris Kermode , his charming and sharp assistant the elegant Charlotte Stone . We thank them all we had an amazing trip. ( FYI. Chris is considered the front runner for new ATP chief)
We are now in Belgium. We’ve been given the grand tour by Xavier Malisse and Max Braeckman. FYI. Max is an amazing young coach. He took Kristen Flipkens from obscurity to top 50 all the way to number 13 in a year. Last year. Wow what a year. Seeded at Wimbledon and the US Open. We’ve had an amazing visit to this beautiful country. We really saw the future of Belgium tennis and Kim Cljsters academy is a fantastic training facility.
