debra of America MoMA Benefit – Email Invite.pdf: Click Here
debra of America is holding our annual benefit at The Museum of Modern Art next Thursday, October 24 from 7:30PM to 10:30PM. This year is the 15th anniversary, and we are honoring Sonya and Mats Wilander for their fifteen years of helping us raise money and spread awareness after their son Erik was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa.
In addition to honoring Sonya and Mats Wilander, we are presenting Partners in Progress awards to pharmaceutical companies for their recent work in developing therapies for those with EB and we will also be flying eight families who have courageously adopted EB children to New York City to attend the benefit.
All proceeds from this annual event benefit the ‘Butterfly Children’ who suffer from the rare and painful genetic disorder, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – The Worst Disease You’ve Never Heard Of.™ debra of America is the only national nonprofit dedicated to funding research for treatments and a cure, while providing supportive services and programs for those with EB. Event details can be found here: www.debra.org/benefits
