Rafael Nadal is the King of clay . Any doubts ? Wins the first set of the finals in 22 minutes. Against Roger Federer.

Did you see the the terrible call that Viktor Troicki got in the Rome event. Leave it to lousy chair umpire Cedric to screw up another match. Hard to believe the ATP ever put him in an umpire chair but harder to believe he is still there. Check the meltdown on utube. Felt bad for Viktor and / or all the other victims of his bad choices and disregard for his bad decisions.

Jimmy Connors book ” The Outsider ” is great. Jimmy’s book tour is going great and the reviews have all been “rave”. We highly recommend it. Father’s Day gifts ? It’s a good choice.

Venus and Serena’s documentary is also getting rave reviews. We have a short review on site with others to follow.

Rome men’s finals over in a little over an hour. Who scheduled the doubles finals for another stadium ? The dubs finals belonged on main stadium in the first place ! The fans didn’t get much tennis for their money and doubles didn’t get its due ! Oh and the world famous Bryan brothers were playing.what a bad call , what a pity.

Gelato flavor of the week ? Not certain but rumors are all the players hit the gelato hard. Serena was going to celebrate with a tub full.

Dusan Vemic has been on holiday and is about to rejoin team Djokovic in Paris.

Tennis reporter Eleanor Preston tweeted that the 2006 finals in Rome between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer’s was one of the greatest finals she ever saw. Today this finals was def one of the worst ever seen. Poor roger had a really poor performance today. Bravo Rafael forever the King of clay.
