James Scott Connors. If you are a fan of his you’ll love the book. If you aren’t a fan of his you’ll love this book. It’s a powerful memoir of a great champion and I’ll go as far to say an American Hero. Maybe some of our readers are saying … What ? Where’s Lovey. An imposter hammering away in her place ? No …? Now you say when does Lovey ever have a chance to read a book? The answer is never. So ok. It’s not Lovey . She is taking a nap in the sun after her tennis match. Lovey never has time to read a book or do much else but run this site and the new site… But this book caught her eye and then mine. Now biggest problem here is I expounded for 30 odd minutes or more my own dislike of Jimmy Connors. I trashed him. ( FYI. : Ron . B . Filling in here ) i’ll continue…. The book captured me. Before I knew it I was 50 pages in and I was in awe of a man called Jimmy Connors. He bares his soul. He pokes fun at himself. He explains the complicated family relationships. Both his story with his family , and the family he created with Patty. I’ve never written a book review and the sites never done one. So we can just tell you. Buy the book. Read the book. You will love it. You need to have an open mind. I feel like I’m a better person for reading this book. I’ve read it thru now and will tell you i’ll be re reading it again soon. For sure It will be the topic of my tennis club.

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
