Sloane Stephens says she wishes that people would have taken her upset of Serena Williams at the Australian Open at face value. “There’s always going to be something,” Stephens said. “If I would have been injured and lost, love and love, everyone would have been, ‘Oh, Serena killed her.’ Not ‘Oh, she was injured.’ ”
