This issue marks our 75th Newsletter, how fun! You know what else is fun tennis, and tennis tournaments. So far, in Estoril the playings been good and strong, with Juan Martin del Potro the defending titlist making it to the semifinals where he faces off against Stanislas Wawrinka. The Australian kid Bernard Tomic, who’s gotten in trouble several times with the police because of his super fast BMW was knocked out of the BMW Open by Feliciano Lopez. As most of you probably already know Djokovic opted not to play in his home country’s tournament. the Serbia Open, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t been fun for other players with the fourth seeded David Nalbandian defeating Joao Souza. All of the top 10 women players are in Madrid for the Mutua Madrid Open where they’re competing for some really big prize money, really big! Its a packed field so it should be a lot of fun to see who wins. Seeing as this is our awesome 75th issue please remember to tell your friends to join our newsletter mailing list. Forward it to your dubs partner, and send it to the foursomes you play in!

Shubert’s Blog – Don’t Fret, Coaching During Matches
I feel like I have to include a disclaimer to this story as I’m not sure all the good people at 10sballs.com will agree with my point of view on this topic. The topic in question is that of coaching during matches. It’s part of my job to observe and review what I see on a daily basis at tennis tournaments that I travel to, and it is obvious that coaching goes on during tournament matches (Junior or Open divisions). In addition, several other big names are likely to play one-off exhibition matches through the week as they finalise preparations for Wimbledon. [Read More]
Hello Everyone!
I’m glad 10sballs.com contacted me to ask if I would blog some more after my (apparently stellar) writing performance at the Easter Bowl. I knew I didn’t have a tournament coming up for a few weeks, and it was a good time to improve myself both on and off the court. I hit the gym hard, lifting with my longtime trainer, Tom Morris, 3 to 4 days a week. [Read More]
