Monday in Miami. Also known as the Sony Ericsson Open. What a line up. What a day. Playing today/ tonight: Maria Sharapova. Sam Stosur… Serena Williams. Novak Djokovic. Juan Martin del Potro. Roger Federer. Andy Roddick. Ana Ivanovic. Mardy Fish. Fernando Verdasco. Gael Monfils. Richard Gasquet. Rafael Nadal. Victoria Azeranka. …. Wow what a day to be in Miami.

Happy to be in Miami this Monday. Happy to be on site already. This is such an awesome event. We (guests of the event ) are being treated so thoughtfully. The tourney is a huge event. With a wonderful casual attitude. Sad that’s there’s so few practice courts but after seeing the Indian Wells tennis garden used so little for players practices. Almost all the big names with the exception of Rafa were rarely on site. Sven had Caroline Wozniaki and his Adidas team on site. But so much amazing practice takes place at La Quinta anyway. So back to Crandon Park.

Sharapova is already in court against Makarova. 10sBalls.com sat with the Sharapova camp in Indian wells. We really like her coach Tom Hogsted and her Belarussian hitting partner Vladimir Voltchkov. But Maria is like a destroyer. She is out for a scalp… Every time. Reminds me of Graf at times. Something in the eyes before she serves. .. She is also the highest paid female athlete on the planet. Big $$$$$$$$$….we also really like her longtime agent Max Eisenbud….great guy. He sure had a stable of little girl players that he nurtured for IMG. We all knew he’d make a great daddy.(he is) And eventually one of his Anas or Marias would make it.(they did ). The harder I work….. The luckier I get. …. Bravo team Sharapova…

I’m on sensory overload. Too many top players. Too many great matches. Too many awesome doubles. Rafa. This time playing with Granollers.
