Ok. Everyone’s reading these “lobs”… and are asking for more…. ? Do we know the lovely Mirka? Yes. Do we admire her? Absolutely! Do we understand her Blackberry that’s attached to her hand? Even during RF playing? Yes and no? Maybe by now it’s a habit…. Back in the day… it was to keep the ” group ” informed. Today with smart phones and apps so many updates are available…….

The twins… I forgot their jobs are to keep “papa” laughing and frolicking with them or after them as the case may be. For Roger and The twins it’s ” pink time” Roger is playing with those two happy giggling little girls. He loves it all.

The guys that make up his crew. Tony. Severin. Paul. And the big guy. The masseuse with the big strong hands. Stephane by name. Those guys play cards with him. Watch soccer with him. Train with him. Tell jokes together.

Then there’s ” coach Gavin Rossdale ” he is always a supportive friend! Right now they need to be supportive and dwell on the positive.

So back to his Dear Mirka. On a normal day. She plans his meals. His clothing. His meetings (interviews) both on the phone and in person. Practices. Matches. She plans the holidays. The meals.(he eats a lot sleeps a lot ) The pick ups. The nanny. She’s the travel agent. The person that sees to every little detail. She makes sure the minimum amount of efforts are all that’s expected of the Mighty Federer.(practice. Eat.Play. Sleep.) That way Roger can save his BEST for the tennis court. Mirka keeps the Lindt chocolate balls following them around the world. She makes sure the ROLEX people are happy. And Mercedes. And Wilson. And Gillette. Jura. Nationale Swiss. Nike. …. And all of his sponsors worldwide. His Foundation. And his work with the ATP. Where did Mrs. RF learn to manage this. From the first Mrs. Federer….. Mrs. Robert Federer. That’s right Lynette Federer and Mirka really work beautifully together to help his career reach it’s full potential. Today and for many years to come.

Mirka is organized, smart beyond her years, she is sweet, thoughtful, articulate, loving and kind. She really is an amazing woman!

Mirka was a fine player herself. She never was a household name but she was a pro on the WTA tour. She gets “it” she knows what it takes. She knows if you go on court with any of life’s “stress” you can’t perform to your best. She knows her man. It’s all about the little things. The nuances. Roger is a genius. He is the racehorse. He is the perfectionist. He is the virtuoso. He is the maestro. He is the man. The pressure he had holding off these guys that are younger. RAFA 24. Novak 24. Andy 25….. Roger is 30….. That’s a big difference.

We totally admire Mr. and Mrs. Roger Federer.and Mr. And Mrs. Robert Federer.

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
