ITF Announced Davis Cup Venues
The ITF has announced five of the eight venues for the 2012 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group first round ties to be played over the weekend of February 10th-12th. The list of proposed venues for the 2012 World Group first round ties are as follows. All venues are subject to a successful site visit and final confirmation by the ITF:
Spain v Kazakhstan in Spain – extension until December 15th
Austria v Russia – Arena Nova, Wiener Neustadt, Austria. Hard – indoors
Canada v France – Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre, Vancouver, Canada. Hard – indoors
Switzerland v United States – Forum Fribourg, Fribourg, Switzerland. Clay – indoors
Czech Republic v Italy – CEZ Arena, Ostrava, Czech Republic. Hard – indoors
Serbia v Sweden in Serbia – extension until November 29th
Japan v Croatia – Bourbon Beans Dome, Kobe, Japan. Hard – indoors
Germany v Argentina in Germany – extension until December 5th
