Another month. Another Roger Federer? |

Yes that’s right folks. I’m so looking forward to September 30th. One huge reason is I get to flip my official Roger Federer calendar to see another month and a new Roger Federer. Mr. October. Yes, (the photo is October. )

Ok. So. I already peeked… Yes I looked at the entire twelve months. The day the calendar arrived… 10sballs.com has a standing order of calendars via Switzerland and the Roger Federer Foundation…

We support the wonderful work that Rogers foundation provides. Our order is 100 and they disappear so fast… At first the stacks look massive. And in no time they are all gone. Some sent back to Europe or Australia or China or Chapaqua… My point is. Support the foundation. Check Rogers website. Order your 2012 calendar now. Support the foundation. I know I already said that. But I really mean it!

The calendar is a labor of love provided by Rogers dad Robbie Federer. He sorts thru hundreds maybe thousands of photos to the final product. Plus my favorite…. Every August which is the month the Living Legend was born Robbie shares a family photo… this year it was a young Rogi in 1983 swimming with ” floaties ” and a circle inner tube type thing as well. …. Always a guy that’s practical and careful…

Ok, I looked at November and December again. Awesome. December is great. It’s so special. It’s Roger doing press and giving an interview. Arms crossed and smiling. I’ve sat in many an interview room and seen this sweet reaction to seriously dumb questions. I always try for a front row seat. It’s great to hear Roger in English. But his French is beautiful as well. What doesn’t Federer do that’s not beautiful?
