US Open 2011. Its been great event for 10sballs.com. The whole year has. In case you didn’t pick up on it everyone here loves tennis. We love Roger…. and all the rest … We love the game of tennis. We love the period its in right now. It’s the second” Golden Age.” The first was in the 1940s.

Today’s players with a few exceptions are a humble bunch… (Her highness and bounce bounce bounce are the exceptions that jump to mind ..) Humility… An Interesting human trait …inherited? Learned? Life experience …. Stunted arrested development …oops I transgressed again…

Ok. I found the per diems info I was looking for. … For all main draw players.

The daily meal allotment on site is 35.oo. Up from 25.oo last year.\

The daily hotel per diem is 230.oo a day plus three extra days to add on to arrival or departure ….

Ok. It’s Friday. It’s been a long week but its been a great week. Roger looked in awesome form. Donald Young has had a good week. Xavier Malisse is winning with Mark Knowles. Max Mirnyi is out there today. So is Bethanie. Hope her shoulder heals soon. Fashionista Karen has arrived. Not sure about Global chick. If it’s not chic she’s not there? She is probably on her way. Waiting for week two? Still hanging with Clooney or Piven? Night and day. Actor or what?

Donald Young jr. just took the first set off of Stan Wawrinka. Court 17(new stadium) is full and its 20 deep outsize the court. It was a great set. D. Y. took 6 set points to get the first set breaker. But he got it !

Ok DY lost the second set. I’ve got to go. More updates later ….

TENNIS GOSSIP FROM THE 2018 U.S. OPEN • WTA | ATP • FEDERER HAS PLAYED 1,424 MATCHES WITHOUT A “RETIREMENT”

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
