Gossip. Hearsay. And some Tennis news. Happy Birthdays this week to two great Friends of the site – Xavier Malisse and Donald Young Jr. Both guys are truly blessed with magical talent.
One of the Panchos used to say tennis has two kinds of painters. The usual house, building and wall painter… Or the portrait painter! “The Artiste.” The Mighty Federer is the ultimate “master artist”. He is Michaelangelo and Leonardi da Vinci rolled into one. Throw in a little Renoir and Monet and Ella Fitzerald and the Mills Brothers….
We have new bloggers. Both have already started with the Los Angeles tourney. “The Farmers.” We have the lovely Isabelle Rose and Don “Dr.Chiro” Brosseau.
Isabelle is a long time fan and friend to tennis. Don is known on every continent by anybody who is anybody, in men’s tennis. Or not… Don was always pretty stealthy. But so is Lovey….
Los Angeles is a buzz. We are thrilled that the Amazing Steve Bellamy is holding his Shoot out 21. Steve brought us the Tennis Channel. He is the big Kahuna of tennis.

We know the LA tourney chose a really lovely hotel ….but one other geezer said to this geezer… Did they think the event was being held at the old site? The L.A.T.C.? …..it’s going to be traffic, tourists, and traffic daily in Los Angeles. In the summer you want to stay as close to your destination as possible …..Hollywood is a stretch…. West Hollywood was a stretch…..
