Roger Federer. You will be number one again! When? Whenever….. Soon…. sometime… at some point….. are we sure? Yes!

We are sure. Why are we sure? Because we know the “Mighty Fed” and we know he will. It’s that simple.

Rogi needs rest. Rogi runs in a zillion directions and “R and R” is exactly what he needs. He needs a “vacay.” A holiday. A little break. He does well in Dubai because he needs the pampering to go with the training. It’s a ying yang thing.

He needs the pampering to go with all his charitable work. His current project in Malawi is an amazing effort .

Office rumblings and grumbling yesterday… the grumblings are still the rogue sites stealing our stories… We must be doing a decent job if our stories are being stolen by other websites. Lifted word for word…..

The rumblings were all good. (No earthquakes). We are hearing from all our usual. Sven ran into Global Chick in an airport lounge. They are both on the road again (different continents ). No word from Mats (the Sundance kid) Xavier and his brilliant coach Max Braeckman are sweating heaps at nick bolliteries. They are just in from Europe and are on their way to Atlanta (hotlanta) and on to Los Angeles. If you haven’t attended the event at UCLA you should. It’s really a great setting. Its always a great event no matter the lack of big names. (Household names) Del Potro made his break through there. So did Gilles Muller, after success in LA he took Roddick and his “mojo” out of the U.S. Open.

It’s hot almost all over the United States. Really hot. So tennis players drink your fluids. Whatever that may be. Gatorade. Powerade. Lemonade. Water. Corona…. Whatever…. but replace your liquids …

Angelinos we are hearing about the closure of the 405 freeway for days…. Good luck… Or Gridlock…. We talked to more than one Tennis Channel staffer… the plan… heading out of town today? Big Boss is still in Newport but due back any day. Good thing because “Geezers” been running the show…. buying lunch for whole staff everyday…followed by a round robin every afternoon. Hey its a 10s site …
