Djokovic Wins Wimbledon - Bounce Bounce Bounce

Novak Djokovic wins the 125th Gentlemen’s singles title at Wimbledon. He beat Rafael Nadal in four sets. The scores were. 6-4,6-1,1-6,6-3… Poor Rafa. He came back with winning the third set. But got broken early in the fourth. Poor Deb. Anyone who works with her knows what I mean. Good news is because of the 4^th of July holiday in the USA Monday is a holiday.

So by Tuesday we hope she has mellowed or is dealing with the results and outcome better…. Poor Roger Federer. The finals should have been Rogi and Rafa ….. my dear friend Jewels tells me she thinks Rogers body can reach that extra gear but that his head needs an extra level to reach ,find, or discover. He loses focus. He has a lead or a break and let’s it go …. And at that point he should go into tunnel vision and his focus has to find a new gear. A higher level of confidence and calm…. No doubts….

When was the last time you heard the mighty Fed say it takes 24 points to win a set. Whose going to do this to me ?

It’s not that I don’t admire Novak Djokovics talent. Or his sense of humor. It’s just that damn bouncing….. “bounce, bounce, bounce.”

Stay tuned Wimby is over but there is great tennis coming our way all summer. The field at Newport Rhode island is impressive and we have Davis cup starting at the end of the week. I almost forgot and Team Tennis starts any day. …
