Wimbledon. What a Monday? What an amazing order of play. 16 men and 16 women started the day… Now what can I say. A fact. 50 percent of all tennis players lose daily. Sure and same thing no matter how many are in the draw, till it’s the player holding the big trophy, making the speech. FYI. Always thank every member of your box, and your team by name. “Thanks guys” does not cut it…. Don’t need last names. …

Wimbledon. The Royal Couple attended. Front row. Center. Royal box. Princess Diana would have loved the scene. Billie – Jean seated right behind them. Andy Murray. Said a Brit hack mentioned to him after practice that Royalty was around… He said he didn’t know till he got to his seat on court and saw all the cameras lenses pointing. In that direction…

Wills and Kate came to Centre Court. Wow. It’s a big deal. It was also the hottest day of the year.

Andy Murray had a beautiful bow as he left the court a winner over Gasquet. He also waved. It was cute. He said he practiced his bowing last year for the Queens visit.

We caught the last few of Rafa vs. Del Potro. The handshake at the net was a beautiful thing to see. Rafa looked more worried than happy (foot) but Juan Martin del Potro was truly kind and gracious and ruffled Rafa’s hair and kind of shared the win as being pleased that he had a great showing against the mighty bull… More later…

P.S. Sorry Dear Xavier. That kid from down under is about three years overdue to break through into the top twenty. Who. Bernie Tomic. Bernard Tomic. A great talent. A lot of obstacles to achieve the final 8. We love you X- man win or lose

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
