Roger Federer and those RF hats. Yikes. I don’t want to tell you how many perfectly good assistants were driven nuts tiring to search down those hats. Big Boss had to have every color. Every new one. If Rogi was seen in a new cap we were instantly chasing them down.

Some fans with the affliction have to dress like him too. They need the hat. The head band. The shirt. The shorts. The jacket. The bag. Oh my gosh. That was us. We were so driven as if they were Rubik’s cubes or beanie babies or cabbage patch dolls or talking Elmos ….

I guess our favorite is the Roger Federer Beanie baby. Two obsessions rolled into one. Do you collect the hats? Head bands? Shirts?

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
