I would love to see Serena as a top seed, but for sure they will not give her #1. As you know, they usually go by rankings, without exception. What exceptions have their ever been? Also, it would be very unfair to the top 10 + players to seed her high. They have been playing and earned their rankings. It would be a nice thing to do, since she is the 2010 champ, but it would not be the right thing to do. She is my favorite player, so this is not an anti-Serena comment.
