All We Can Say Is Merci...

Rafael Nadal is in the men’s finals. Andy Murray we are huge fans… We love your game, your smarts, your grit. You! Sorry you lost mate. If your ankle was stronger it might have been a different outcome. Rafa won 6-4,7-5,6-4

Roger Federer please don’t let us down! Please take out the” Djoker”. Also known around here as, “Bounce, Bounce, Bounce.” We admire his tenacity, but we hate his bouncing.

Grunting? No not me…. but lots of grunting. My favorite line of the week came from Chris Kisby. He said, “he was bothered by the grunting that he turned off the sound on his telly….” But Chris added that he missed the commentating …. To me that works. It kills two birds with one stone…

We discussed excessive grunting.

We covered excessive commentaries from so-called TV/tennis experts, which happen to be ex-players.

We covered excessive bouncing………….

Only thing we’ve been good about is the French don’t seem to use a butt cam on Rafa. All we can say is merci.

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
