Always Great Tennis In Doubles

Doubles troubles for Indian duo. Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes lost… The winning team… Huss? Fisher? Who? Ashley Fisher and Stephen Huss. That’s who! Both Aussies so basically Australia beat India. Ashley’s been out with a bum knee. Stephen is a Wimbledon men’s doubles winner. One year ” Hussy” and Moodie beat everyone to hold the Wimby gold trophy. Where have they been lately? Playing on the U.S.T.A. southern challenger circuit.

With ATP rules stifling doubles players (Ashley wears a suit on ATP board) … If they are a team they must have a combined ranking that makes the cut. They haven’t in years. So bravo guys. A special shout out from Big Boss and staff of 10sballs.com.

Max the beast Mirnyi and Danny the 800 win man Nestor make the turn into the second week. They had a win over the Italian duo.

Last but not least. Team “ponytail” lost to team “Bel-Kraine” –

That would be Alix, “the dog” Dolgopolov and Xavier “X-man” Malisse. They lost in a third set tiebreak battle to the German/Jamaican team. But I guess its now a German team. Dustin has gone for the sauerkraut and beer …..

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
