Here in the U.S. it’s today. In Mexico its not till May 10…I’m not sure when its celebrated in other countries. Spain? Serbia? U.K.? France? Canada? I asked Geezer but just got had to go look it up look… So whenever it is wherever you are …Happy Mothers Day!

Special greetings go to all the tennis travelling moms on tour today. That’s Kim Clijsters and Mirka Federer just to name a few.

Happy Mother’s day to all the staff’s mothers. All were great tennis moms as we grew up… The tennis mom is an important factor based on the dynamics and nature of the sport. The tourneys at all levels are all over the place. Moms will drive thousands of miles every year on the family car schlepping to a practice…a lesson or tourney. They wash hundreds of loads of tennis clothes a year. They plan almost a thousand meals a year. What tennis player only eats three meals? They eat all the time. In between practice. Matches and naps….

A special Happy Mothers Day to my mom (yes the one I made wear the lucky dress)… yes the dress I always wished was the lucky dress

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
