Update Miami: The site is totally amazing. But today we saw the site from the air. Wow. Wow. Wow. Big boss loves helicopters … Walking the site. Enjoying all the stadiums and outer courts is spectacular … Today it just hit new heights. You can get a good shot of what we saw on TV with their crane cam or blimp cam… Any cam but that awful spider cam that was the pest of the stadium at the Indian Wells tennis gardens. …
This was a tennis tournament.... Like no other. This was a U.S. Open like no other.. Let's start with new logo. It's click art like ours? But we aren't the USTA.
The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
What a start. First match in the new stadium and bye bye ladies number one seed and WTA World Number One. Simona Halep. Losing to Estonian Kaia Kanepi.
It was the end of an era at Crandon Park for the Miami Open last year. From the Lipton, to the Nasdaq 100, to the Sony Ericsson, to the Sony, to the Miami Open presented by Itau, Key Biscayne saw it all.
