Missed flights. Lost luggage. Ok now to the good news. We arrived in Miami! We love Miami Beach! Loved it since the 1960’s…South Beach is our fav. Joe’s Stone Crab has been the scene of many a soiree.
The Sony Ericsson Open is one of the best events on earth…  If you have a “bucket list ” add it …
First round match observations … Bernie Tomic lost to Andujar, Kevin Anderson beat Davydenko, Xavier Malisse beat Ryan Sweeting in straight sets. Donald Young came thru quails; the second master 1000 in straight weeks… Lost to Istomin…

Bethanie Mattek-Sands won her first round against Arvidsson, Dinara Safina beat Jelena Dokic, Mirza beat Parra…
We were happy to hear Pete Sampras got his trophies returned …  Maybe storage units aren’t the best places for such treasures???
Looking into round two line ups … Bethanie to play “Sunshine,” Caroline Wozniaki … Two sluggers. Two shotmakers. Two fighters. Should be a packed stadium …  Xavier Malisse vs. Llodra, Dev Varman vs. Milos Raonic could be breakers all the way….
