Andy Roddick dives for championship point!!! Folks they’ll be talking about this one for a long time…. it was just unreal. It would have felt better on grass… It was a great final. The dive was the 5th match point… Andy had had one an hour earlier. Andy was feeling lousy. His color was pale and pasty. Milos looked like the puppy who was worn out but it didn’t matter… tiebreakers in first two sets. Then down 1-4 in third, he fought hard to tie things back up… He had been on such a high from all his fantastic results of 2011. Andy, It was an unreal dive. It just was. Watch it on our video round up. Listen to the Koz interviews. They are great. The Memphis event was great. The ladies quarters, semis, and finals were great. The men’s doubles was fantastic. Our buddy Max Mirnyi and new partner Daniel Nestor won the dubs title. Andy we applaud you. Really nice comments after the match about Milos and his great talent. Andy played that final like it was a slam, or Davis cup. Andy and his magic red shoes…. It was Andy’s 50th final…. 30th title. (You know Greg Sharko was in Memphis for us to get all these great stats. Bravo Greg. ATP world tour greatest hidden gem). It was Andy’s third time at winning the Memphis tourney…

Observations. Both the young players from Canada are long legged. Rebecca Marino. We hope you are fit again soon. Milos and Rebecca both tall 20 year olds…. Both Andy and Milos were wearing Lacoste. Seems like years since I’ve seen an all Lacoste finals….

Black history month. Turns out hardly anyone knew about how musically inclined Althea Gibson was from an early age. So many people contacted me regarding the album. Stay tuned… Arthur Ashe. Same thing. Everyone called and emailed. Over and over I heard I didn’t say enough… I didn’t mention law school…. Or enough about Davis cup… Or west point…. Or what a true friend he was…. It just doesn’t stop. Hopefully we can all remember one thing about Arthur to share with future generations of human beings. Arthur Ashe was truly a grand gentleman and humanitarian. He was a king. I truly believe he would have been the first black president of the United States….

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
