Camerawork USA made a quick “pit stop” on their way back from OZ…so I got the pleasure of just finishing a quick burger, fries, and a coke with Susan and Fred Mullane. If you haven’t checked out there photos on 10sballs.com, check them out! Hurry…!!! You’ll see some of the best photos, ever! Right now they are at thirty hours of traveling and making their way back home after the long journey down under. They still must have ten more hours of travel time… It was sure fun to hear all about the Australian open from the two of them….
I’m feeling the after tourney blues… You too? It happens… I’m terrible at goodbyes… Most players rarely say goodbye… Hard for them too. It’s just starts to thin out around the site or hotel… This was a great Aussie open and 10sballs.com enjoyed our first Australian open!
Thanks Elena Baltacha. Xavier Malisse. Wayne Arthurs. Last but not least… the one and only Pat Cash! Thanks team. We appreciate the support
The Mullane’s also told me all about how awesome the wheelchair finals were. Both the men’s and the women’s. I am still amazed at the level of tennis that is being played by these super athletes. To be in a wheelchair and play tennis! They must be so good at anticipating the ball as well as which way to move the chair. The able bodied player never has to factor in as much each information into their heads. I admire the ability and spirit of these tennis players…
What’s on my mind… I’m thrilled for Kim Clijsters. Bravo dear Aussie Kim! 10sballs.com has been a long time fan of Kim’s. We met at Wimby 1998. We shared a tourney transport car from either Aorangi Park, which is Wimby practice area, or it was from Roehampton, the site of the qualies. Kim had gone thru qualies that day. She has creamed every opponent along the way. Well done!!!
Ok. So I haven’t mentioned the men’s winner. Why? Novak Djokovic you bounce the ball too much. You stall too much… You bounce the ball too much…. Sixteen… Seventeen… Eighteen…. Oh. Please…
