Rafa. Rafa. Rafa. Rafa? Can Rafael Nadal do it? What? Pull off winning a fourth consecutive major title… it would be a “Nadal slam,” because for his four slams weren’t in the same calendar year.
Rod laver. Rod the “rocket “from Rockingham. Truly won two grand slams. All four slam titles in same calendar year. 1962. And again in 1969. No male player has achieved it since… Rod we love you and hope you can be influential helping rebuild your home town.
Noticed a few weeks ago that it was reported in the NY Post that Monica Seles has a book coming out about life in a junior tennis academy… can’t wait.
Also, noticed Maria Sharapova has said adios to Michael Joyce. Wow. We knew she would be great with Thomas Hogsted. But we thought it was a shared deal…

But…I was watching Andy Roddick play his opening match in Australia and well I don’t know how to say it nicely but he was always grabing himself… Is his agent trying to get him a CRUEX commercial or endorsement? Ken. Maybe you can just buy him some…
Nice to see “Sunshine” win her opening match. Caroline wozniaki has a good group with her they all work as a team.
Roger Federer looked really solid in his opener. Rog we all love watching you grace a tennis court…best ever!
Thrilled to see Donald Young junior go thru the qualies. Yay. D.Y. Sorry to see Ryan Harrison go down in first… Same with Theimo de Bakker. Scores looked like a meltdown or an injury. Then again he was playing the super talented Gael Monfils…
Pat McEnroe is talking too much… And it’s only the first day. Brad Gilbert did a super interview with Caroline Wozniaki. 10sballs.com wants to remind everyone to reach out and help the flood victims…

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
