Patrick Rafter. You sure got that right mate! 10sballs.com applauds all the mates and all the sheilas… I was totally blown away to flip on the Tennis Channel and find the www.rallyforrelief.tennis.com.au. You can donate money for the flood victims. Today’s event in the sold out Rod Laver arena (15 thousand fans) raised awareness as well as one and a half million dollars in pledges. The event was really fun to watch. Thank you Melbourne’s Channel 7 and the Tennis Channel.

Todd Woodbridge was a fun commentator. Jim Courier was super in the umpires chair. The players… They were off the charts fun. Andy Roddick was wearing a dumb hat and sunnies (sunglasses for us non Aussies) he kept raising and lowering the net to help his team win. They introduced Kim Clisters from Melbourne. One has to wonder how comfortable Kim was with Lleyton Hewitt on court coaching a team along with Pat Rafter… Ana Ivanovic was out on court as was Sam Stosur, Justine Henin, and number one seed Caroline Wozniaki.

The guys’ rafter referred to have big hearts. Personality. Generosity. And humility. Mates playing were Andy Roddick and Andy Murray. Rafael Nadal looking so sexy. Roger Federer also looking awesome in his Nike clothes. Love the yellow. The cut of the collar on shirt and trim. Yellow shoes.

Shot of the day….goes to the mighty Federer. It was his around the net and umpires chair shot against Aussie Kim….it didn’t matter who it was against. It was Roger and the ball… Courier said Roger was so close to him he could smell his cologne…
Rod laver gave a very moving statement on the jumbo screen . Rockhampton is his hometown. “Rod the rocket,” the area of Queensland that’s been flooded is larger than Texas and California combined…

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.

Enjoyed the Rally for Relief very much. Roddick and Djokovic are especially funny guys.. Seems as tho Roddixk, in particular, always shows up for charity events ( amd gave $ 10,600 at Brisbane earlier in the week. A good representitive for America!
