The first players have started to arrive for the Qatar ExxonMobil starting next week. Nikolay Davydenko, the number four seed from Russia, arrived on Thursday at Doha Airport.
Ernest Gulbis (LAT), Philipp Kohlschreiber (GER ), Andreas Seppi (ITA), Victor Hanescu (ROM), Karol Beck (SVK), Sergiy Stakhovsky (UKR), Michal Przysiezny and Fabio Fogini (ITA) also arrived on the same day.
Earlier in the week, Jarkko Niemeinen (FIN), Teymuraz Gabashvilli (RUS), Rainer Schuettler (GER), Illya Marchenko (UKR), Reda El Emrani (MOR), Lukas Lacko (SVK), Mikhail Kukushkin (RUS) also made their way over to Doha.
The top three seeds, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, are all yet to arrive as they are now warming up in Abu Dhabi at an exhibition tournament.
The Qatar ExxonMobil Open will run from 3-8 January at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex.
