Anna Kournikova has been hanging out with Scooby Doo, Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny. She met up with them while in Atlanta where she attended the 2010 Boys and Girls Clubs of America Chairman’s Dinner at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center.

“I have been a part of BGCA since 2004 and through them I have been involved in their partnership with Cartoon Network since 2007 so this event was a wonderful tie in as Cartoon Network was the night’s presenting sponsor,” she wrote on Facebook. “The theme for the evening was Great Futures Start Here, which was very fitting as that is exactly what BGCA aim to do for all kids, start great futures! We all came together with the common goal of celebrating the kids, raising awareness and funds and that is exactly what we did!

“During the presentation I spoke about my involvement with both BGCA and CN and about their new initiative Stop Bullying: Speak Up. This is a very critical issue right now, and with October being National Bullying Prevent Month a very fitting time to bring to everyone’s attention.”

Ana Ivanovic is also involved with a campaign to combat bullying, working on behalf of UNICEF. When she has the opportunity she visits schools in Serbia where bullying and abuse is a problem, and she tries to guide and lead the kids in the right direction.

“It’s a great honor to do some work on behalf of UNICEF and I take my role as an ambassador very seriously,” she said. “I love kids and it’s a cause that I care about a lot. Whenever I visit Belgrade I try to find the time to visit a school or take part in some event for UNICEF, which always involves meeting kids and talking to them about their school life and wellbeing.”
