Here are just a few of our favorite EPA photos for today and we wanted to share with you guys so you could enjoy them.
The ITF has announced the draws for the 2014 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group semifinals, and World Group and World Group II play-offs taking place on 19-20 April.
Mathematical memo to Maria Sharapova and her entourage: During the first two sets of Sharapova's match with Lucie Safarova, she was winning 34% of second serve points. At the same time, she was putting in 64% of first serves, and winning 70% of those points. Had she fired a first serve on her second serve, she would have double-faulted dozens of times but would have won 45% of second serve points.
The statistics for these two were almost eerily similar. Going into Novak Djokovic's fifth service game of the third set, each had five aces, and each had put in 65% of first serves. Djokovic had won only one more point. And Djokovic had had only one more break...
This was by no means as easy and straightforward as it looks; it took more than an hour, and if we did this right, Agnieszka Radwanska's first hold of the second set lasted 22 points! Radwanska is assured the #3 ranking; Annika Beck will probably be #43.

Eugenie Bouchard (Westmount, QC) advanced to the fourth round of a WTA Premier event for the first time in her career of Sunday at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California.
Alexandra Cadantu won't move above her current #59, but Coco Vandeweghe looks as if she just might have a shot at a Top Hundred return -- especially since she faces Petra Kvitova next, and if nothing else there is the chance that Kvitova will get sick again...

Australian Open finalist Dominika Cibulkova fulfilled her top seeding after a few rough showings since Melbourne, with the Slovak beating Poland Urszula Radwanska 6-3, 6-4 in the first round.
This clearly wasn't a case of Alize Cornet not caring. At 2-5 down in the first set, she was sobbing as she talked to her coach. But what could either of them do? Cornet can't hope to out-hit Venus Williams; all she could do was try to get balls back.
It's interesting to realize that Serena Williams can't add any points here -- her results are so strong that a mere Premier title doesn't count for her! She drops Jelena Jankovic to #8 -- meaning that Simona Halep, despite her injury, will be hitting a new high of #7.
While younger forces such as defending champion Petra Kvitova, 2012 winner and world no.3 Agnieszka Radwanska and other top 10 players Sara Errani, Simona Halep and Angelique Kerber have all been early casualties at the Dubai Duty Free Championships...
Is Agnieszka Radwanska already running out of gas this year? She made the Australian Open semifinal, and also the semifinal at Doha -- but she was seeded for the final, and here she is out again, half a week later. She'll stay #3, but she loses the chance to open a significant lead on Victoria Azarenka...
