It has been a mixed bag of results for seeds through two days of the French Open men's singles tournament.
The French Open got off to its traditional Sunday start, but a plethora of entertainment has been left for Monday and Tuesday as the first round heats up. While Roger Federer is already through to round two, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have not yet made their 2014 Roland Garros debuts. Let's take a look a quick look ahead.

Kei Nishikori celebrated his unofficial first full day as a member of the ATP Top 10 (he will not officially reach that mark until the new rankings are released, likely on Monday morning) with one of the most impressive wins of his career on Saturday at the Mutua Madrid Open.

Although he did not do it convincingly, Rafael Nadal bounced back from a Monte-Carlo quarterfinal loss to David Ferrer with a 7-6(2), 6-4 victory over Albert Ramos in the second round of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell on Wednesday afternoon.
