ITF Junior World Champion Irina Khromacheva was the first notable seed to exit Junior Roland Garros when she lost on the opening day to German qualifier Antonia Lottner. The No. 4 seed, who finished as runner-up to Ashleigh Barty at 2011 Junior Wimbledon, won just three games in a match which lasted one hour 11 minutes.
NEC Corporation will sponsor Roland Garros wheelchair tennis event in Paris on 6-8 June, 2012. The event is one of the four Grand Slam tournaments on the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour.

Yesterday was the official draw ceremony for the Australian Open 2012 Wheelchair competition. The top seeds Esther Vergeer and Maikel Scheffers were in attendance with all the other competitors of this year!
After a long day yesterday it was such a pleasure of enjoying the incredible views from the balcony and having an Aussie barbecue for dinner!
