Rafael Nadal's 2015 campaign may be one to forget at this point, but he at least remains on course for a second title. Nadal put himself two wins away from triumphing at the bet-at-home Open by beating Pablo Cuevas 6-3, 6-2 during quarterfinal action on Friday.
Top seed Rafael Nadal beat Jiri Vesely 6-4, 7-6(2) on Thursday to reach the quarter-finals at the bet-at-home Open. The 2008 champion now holds a 23-6 match record on clay this season as he looks to add to his 46 clay-court titles.

Two tournaments wrapped up on Sunday and not one featured a seeded champion. Both finals required a third-set tiebreaker to be decided. In Hamburg, Leonardo Mayer upset No. 1 seed David Ferrer 6-7(3), 6-1, 7-6(4). In Bogota, Bernard Tomic toppled Ivo Karlovic 7-6(5), 3-6, 7-6(4).
