Australian Open finalist Dominika Cibulkova fulfilled her top seeding after a few rough showings since Melbourne, with the Slovak beating Poland Urszula Radwanska 6-3, 6-4 in the first round.
Gael Monfils, who is committed to play in the BB&T Atlanta Open for the first time in 2014 and is excited about it: “I like to play in front of anybody. I like to play for a full crowd and I like to play on the American hard courts. If the crowd gets into the action, that makes it even better.
