In time for the year's first Grand Slam, the Australian Open, Tennis Channel is now available on Apple TV, which marks the network's first digital streaming partner. Apple TV users who subscribe to Tennis Channel via their cable, satellite or telco providers will have TV Everywhere access to the network's linear feed though the platform.
It’s that time of year again, where the winter months give way to people sweltering in the Aussie heat (making those of us who have to de-ice cars… it happens…) very jealous.
This is the 103rd edition of the Australian Championships, which began in 1905, as well as being the 47th Australian Open and the 188th Grand Slam tournament of the Open Era. Melbourne Park hosts the tournament for the 28th year. It was first played here in 1988, when the venue was known as Flinders Park.
