Andy Murray will hopefully be wearing plenty of sunscreen as he exposes his powerful – but pasty – body to the strong sun of the Bahamas during a post-Wimbledon holiday with girlfriend Kim Sears in the Bahamas.
The pair flew out from equally sunny London this week for some downtime.
Murray immediately announced that he has little on his immediate agenda. The world No. 2 quickly put out a tweet upon landing in the Caribbean. “Just got off flight… Nice 5 day break coming up before training starts again next Saturday… Going to eat a lot and do very little else.”
The first British Wimbledon champion in 77 years who beat Novak Djokovic for the title this month, is set to resume his grueling work regime at his nearby base in Miami prior to getting back onto the ATP at the Masters 1000 in Montreal from August 2. That will be followed by Cincinnati and the US Open, where he is defending his first grand slam trophy.
